Loose Lips is largely a one woman show and while I'll always do my best to post orders promptly, there may be delays during busy periods.

I haven't received my item, halp!

Don't panic! Use your Royal Mail tracking number to check if your order is still in transit. If your parcel is marked as delivered successfully but you do not have it, please check for a communication from your post(wom)man detailing whether they have left it: at a safe spot by your residence; with a neighbour; or it has been returned to the sorting office. If no message has been left, call your local post office to enquire, using your tracking number as a reference.

We accept full responsibility for your order until the moment we pass it into the capable hands of Her Majesty's postal service. If you've tried all of the above but believe your item was lost in transit, then contact the shipping provider to make a claim.

What's the difference between thrift and vintage?

We stick by the standard that vintage clothing are items over 25 years of age. They've lived and they've been loved long before they came into Loose Lip's possession. Just like all of us, they show signs of their age and we've helpfully recorded this in three categories to help you when considering your purchase:

Excellent - Looking good as new with no visible sign of wear or apparent structural damage.
Very Good - Looking good by with some minor wear and tear.
Good - Showing their age but still with plenty of life in them.

Every other item that is not old enough to be considered vintage, we deem as thrift.

In both cases the items we sell are usually no longer in mainstream circulation and are often hard to find elsewhere. We search out these second hand beauties, wrest them from the rails in ailing thrift stores — or — from wholesalers where they're under appreciated and bring them to you in curated collections. Often items are one-of-a-kind and impossible to restock. If you like it make it yours, 'cause when it's gone it's gone forever.

What does Loose Lips Remix mean?

Items in the Loose Lips Remix category are vintage or thrifted items that have been given a new lease of life by Loose Lips Founder Tiffany. Usually leather pieces customised with paint, they're designed and completed by hand which makes them exclusive to little old us. Creating these unique items is incredibly time consuming and thus this section is likely to be sparser than others.

Do you take custom orders for remixes?

Yes but please be aware that due to the nature of second hand clothing, we cannot guarantee the consistency of items we source for remixing. This adds to the exclusivity but also means it is difficult provide a particular style, colour or size upon request.

However, we can offer custom sew on leather patches to your exact specs. The only limit is your imagination ^_~

If you're interested in a custom item, then drop us an email at

Don't you sell anything brand new?

Yeah! We sell small runs of pins, handmade patches and other leather items. Mostly though, we feel in this age of mass production we can offer something far more individual and socially conscious by sharing our adoration of pre-loved clothing with the world.
