SIZING

Why we measure

Sizing is important to us but labels not so much. Sizing standards have changed over the years and vintage sizes are often very different to their contemporary cousins. So what we’re really looking for is a good fit.

This is why we painstakingly measure everything, twice! First we take straight measurements with item laid flat and then we test for stretch which allows us to provide you with an advised  minimum-to-maximum fit. We also list the model’s proportions, so you can get a really good idea of just what you’ll be getting into.

While we do document the label info, we really recommend using the measurements provided to determine whether an item is for you.

How we measure

Bust - is the circumference of your chest, measured at the widest part, just under your arm. No bra and be careful not to squish your lady lumps.

Waist - is measured from just under the ribcage, usually the narrowest point of your fine self.

Hips - is the circumference of your bootayyy, measured at the widest point across the tops of your thighs.
